About Salzburg

Salzburg is a city of Austria situated on the border of Germany. The beautiful city is separated by the Salzach River, with medieval and rococo structures of the pedestrian Altstadt (Old City) to its left side bank, confronting the 19th century Neustadt (New City) to its right side. The Altstadt is the birthplace of popular author Mozart and is protected as an exhibition hall showing his youth instruments.

Salzburg's old town is very amazing, sufficiently huge to lose all sense of direction in the little side roads however little enough to just need an evening. Snatch a nearby local city map and follow a portion of the featured routes around the old town and encompassing beautiful gardens. Remember to gaze toward the buildings to see their dates! It's very reviving to see an old town that hasn't rebuilt excessively after the war.
